Neither his gravestone nor family information give a second name orinitial for John.

John's funeral service was held at the B G Boydston Funeral Chapel inLindsay, Oklahoma, with Bro Grace and Bro Elkins of the Church of Godofficiating. Burial followed in Greenhill Cemetery, McClain County,north of Lindsay.
