• William's enumeration for the 1910 census in Hunt County, Texas,reports his mother born in Virginia, rather than Mississippi, asreported for her in 1860.  The 1880 census for Martha Jane Lovin, inLamar County, Texas, reports her as born in Mississippi.  Also hisfather, likewise reported as born in Mississippi, is now reported asborn in South Carolina.

  By 1920 WIlliam has followed the railroad up to the northwest and isliving in Childress, Childress County, Texas.  No children are stillin his household.  He now has a different wife, but I do not have anydetails.  His wife in 1910, Maggie, was born in Texas of Texasparents.
