- One sources shows several people in the Mullinax-Gaines lines to beburied at Sharon Methodist Cemetery, in Central, Pickens County, SouthCarolina. One sources has at least one person as also in SharonMethodist Cemetery, but in Anderson County, South Carolina. These twotowns are only a few miles apart. The map to Sharon Methodistcemetery in reference to Central, SC, shows the cemetery to the east,and about the same distance to the north of Pendleton in AndersonCounty. It seems that both these references are referring to the samecemetery for both these towns.
Another site reports residence or death in Central, with burial inSharon Methodist cemetery, but in Anderson County. It seems likelythat the cemetery referred to in the first source for Sharon Cemeteryin Central is actually located across the county line in AndersonCounty.
I have not been able to determine exactly where the county line runs.
Several cemetery lists have Sharon Methodist Cemetery in NewberryCounty, South Carolina. But the listing shows none of the names Ihave for people that are reported as buried in Sharon in Anderson orPickens County.
