    Texas Marriage License
    J A Martin and N E Green [Jackson Yeary]
Issued 4 October 1895 Weatherford, Parker County, Texas
Married 6 October 1895 by K G Tennison, Minister of the Gospel
    Filed 7 October 1895

It is not known why Nancy gave her last name as Green.  Her birthsurname was Jackson, and she had been married to a Yeary.  We have noindication of why she would have a surname of Green.  Her mother wasTelitha Green. Her father was Abraham Jackson.  Marion Mixon, mycousin and co-researcher, who first discovered the marriage registerrecording N E Green and J A Martin, has suggested that there was anerror in recording that confused Nancy's surname with her mother'smaiden name.

Nancy's first husband was named Yeary (first name unknown) in abt1890.  They had one child, Jim Yeary.

The 1910 census of Nancy and James Martin reports this was James'first marriage and Nancy's second.  This would mean Nancy's firstmarriage was with Mr Yeary (first name unkknown).
