Notes
- My original source for Alsey Gaines had an error in making her thewife of John Mullinax (b 1755). There was a conflict in dates that Icould not resolve till I discovered the source for the Mullinax familyinformation on Allcensus.com.
The original source had the same date, 1774, as the date of birth forAlsey and for her first son John Mullinax. I originally thought thedate 1774 must have been the the date of MARRIAGE, for her husbandJohn would be about 19 years old that year, and we could assume shewas approximately the same age.
The Allcensus source clarified the problem by indicating that Alsey(spelled Alse in the second source and Alsie in a third source) wasthe WIFE of John S Mullinax JR (b 1775).
